Monrovia® Pony Tail Mexican Feather Grass is a small clump-forming native grass grown for its upright foliage that sways in the slightest wind. The bright green foliage is coupled with wispy stems of greenish-white flowers in the summer that mature to buff. Grows best in full sun and well-drained soils. Treat Mexican Feather Grass as an annual if temperatures reach below 20 in winter. Pont Tail is extremely drought tolerant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance plant. May go dormant in drought or cold winters. Well-drained soils essential to avoid rot and mildew, heave mulch can also induce rot. Do not cut back after winter unless treated as annual.
