Wings of Fire Weigela is a compact deciduous shrub with a rounded habit of dense glossy green foliage that emerges fiery bronze and turns burgundy to bronze in fall. Blooms of glossy rose-pink funnel-shaped flowers begin in mid spring and return again with a lighter bloom in summer. Best flowering and color with full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Can tolerate some light shade.
