Mrs Loewer Ohio Spiderwort is a small native herbaceous perennial with arching smoky blue green grass-like foliage that turns lavender-marron in winter. The small 3-petaled soft lavender blue flowers each last for only a day but bloom continuously from late spring and through summer. Blooms best with full sun and moist, well-drained acidic soils. Mrs Lower is one of the few evergreen Spiderworts.
