Blue Hobbit Sea Holly is a dwarf upright herbaceous perennial with toothed medium green foliage. Silver blue stems host an egg shaped cluster of purple-blue flowers with dramatic thorny brackets of the same color throughout summer. Grows best in full sun with dry, fast-draining soils. Drought and salt tolerant once established.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Rich or moist soils will cause the stems to flop and require staking. No serious pests or diseases. Susceptible to root rot in slow-draining soils. Watch for slugs, snails, and aphids.
