Sun King Golden Japanese Spikenard is a fast-growing compact perennial with a rounded habit and coarse toothed golden yellow compound leaves in part sun or chartreuse to lime green with more shade. Tiny white flowers top the foliage in summer and are followed by purple-black berries in fall. Color is best in part sun and moist, fertile well-drained acidic soils.
