Monrovia® Illustris Painted Prayer Plant is a tropical evergreen perennial with dark green foliage marked with a white-pink midrib and accents that look painted on and bright purple undersides.  Rarely blooms indoors.  Grows best with good indirect sun, high humidity, and consistently moist well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Water when the first inch of topsoil is dry to the touch. Lessen watering in winter. Fertilize with low-dose fertilizer 1-2 times a month during the growing season. Susceptible to burning if there is too much sun, but if the patterns are fading that means its not getting enough light.
