Pippa's Purple Lenten Rose is a late winter-blooming evergreen perennial with leathery dark green basal foliage that emerges marbled with bright emerald green veining. Deep purple stems sporting pink buds open to rose pink flowers that deepen in color as they mature and last from late winter to mid spring. Best bloom in dappled sun and moist well-drained soils. All parts of the plant are toxic if ingested.
