Grindstone Ginkgo is an unusually narrow Ginkgo Tree with upright branching forming pyramidal to columnar habit. The unique fan-shaped leaves open like small rich green globes and gains a golden yellow color in fall. Best color in full sun and moist, well-drained soils. Grindstone is a male variety thus does not produce the messy foul-smelling fruits most gardeners avoid.
