City Slicker® River Birch an attractive native deciduous tree with a symmetrical oval crown and its unique peeling bark that reveals striking white inner bark similar to paper birch. Its glossy dark green foliage turns golden yellow in fall.  Grows best in moist, fertile acidic soils, but can tolerate both drier and semi-aquatic conditions.  City Slicker has very high resistance level of river birch to bronze birch borer.
