Owari Satsuma is a fruit-producing evergreen shrub with a rounded habit and small sweet fruit ready for harvest in winter. The aromatic foliage stays green year round while the fragrant white flowers bloom in spring. Owari fruits are small and very sweet mandarins that are easy to peel and with few seeds. Grows best in full sun and deep, evenly moist, sandy to loamy well-drained acidic soils. Cannot tolerate frost. Owari is self-pollinating and has improved disease and pest resistance, and cold tolerance.
