Chinese Sweetbox is a dense low-growing evergreen shrub with glossy dark green foliage and tiny, but intensely fragrant, white flowers in winter to spring. Small glossy blueberry sized black fruit grows alongside the flowers. Does best in part sun and rich well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established.
