Deep Purple Verbena is a compact herbaceous perennial with a stiff, mounding habit and hairy stems sporting sharply toothed green foliage. The wiry branched stems are lightly leafed and are topped by large clusters of vibrant violet flowers from spring until frost attracting butterflies. Grows best with full sun and well-drained soils.
