Ruby Queen Plum is a semi-dwarf deciduous tree with a showy display of fragrant white flowers but is primarily grown for its mid-season fruit. Its heavy bearing of dark red to red-black fruits with firm dark red flesh with outstanding flavor that is good fresh or used for cooking. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Ruby Queen needs a pollinator to set fruit, but has low chill requirements of only 250 hours and good disease resistance.
