Rock-n-Roll Hydrangea is a deciduous shrub that blooms heavily on both old and new wood and has serrated dark green leaves. The color of the large panicles of mophead flowers depends on the soil PH - They are blue in acidic, purple in more neutral soil, and pink in alkaline soils- and bloom in waves in summer attracting pollinators. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
