Monrovia® Sunny Days Ruby Echinacea is a compact native perennial with strong freely-branching upright stems that do not need staking and gray green foliage. The oversized, lightly fragrant fully double ruby flowers have lower petals with pom-pom like center cones and bloom from summer into fall. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils. The double flowers may attract less butterflies and bees, but spent stems will stay erect and attract birds if not removed. Drought tolerant.
