Large Leaf Periwinkle is an mat-forming evergreen herbaceous perennial with trailing stems and rich green foliage. Solidary true blue to violet flowers bloom in spring. Grows best with part shade and moist rich well-drained soils. Can tolerate to near full shade and drought.
NOTE: Once established will grow aggressively- Listed as invasive in Georgia. Keep in a contained area.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  No serious pests or diseases.  Watch for powdery mildew.  Do not plant near grapevines- this is a known host for Pierce's disease, which can be deadly for grapes.
