Monrovia® Giga Blue Pincushion Flower is a compact basal-clumping herbaceous perennial with finely cut, often fuzzy, grey-green foliage. The large honey-scented violet-blue flowers with larger outer petals and a domed center cushion of smaller flowers bloom on stiff stems nearly year-round from mid-spring through summer. Grows best in full sun and well-drained soils, but tolerates part sun in hot southern climates. Intolerant of wet soils, especially in winter. Deadhead to extend bloom.
