Monrovia® Ignition Purple Salvia is a dwarf upright clumping herbaceous perennial with full green foliage. Tall spikes with tiny two-lipped intensely vibrant purple flowers with near black calyx bloom from mid spring until frost attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. Flowers best in full sun and moist well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established. Has improved humidity tolerance. A Monrovia exclusive.
