Tytlest Nuttall Oak is a large, fast-growing native deciduous tree with pyramidal habit when young and that matures to a rounded crown.  The large lobed rich dark green foliage that has a pair of deep sinuses in the middle emerges as eye-catching burgundy and turns red-orange in fall. The acorns have scaly cups.  Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, acidic well-drained soils.  Very tolerant of urban conditions once established.
