The Princess Spanish Lavender is a compact woody evergreen perennial with highly aromatic grey-green leaves. The stems end with thick flowerheads with small magenta buds and large upright rich lavender-pink petals on top resembling butterfly wings bloom in heavily in spring and lightly in summer. Grows best in full sun and dry to medium well drained alkaline soils.
