Twilight Purple Crape Myrtle produces large, showy panicles of deep purple flowers that bloom in the summer. The flowers are densely packed and create a stunning display of color. They attract butterflies and other pollinators, adding to the garden's biodiversity.

In addition to its striking flowers, Twilight Purple Crape Myrtle offers attractive foliage. The leaves are a glossy dark green during the growing season and transition to shades of orange, red, or burgundy in the fall, providing additional visual interest.

This cultivar typically grows to a height of about 8 to 12 feet (2.4 to 3.6 meters) with a spread of 6 to 10 feet (1.8 to 3 meters). It has an upright, vase-shaped growth habit and smooth, peeling bark that adds texture to the tree's appearance.

Twilight Purple Crape Myrtle thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It is relatively drought-tolerant once established and requires minimal maintenance. Pruning is typically done in late winter or early spring to remove any dead or crossing branches and to promote a more open and balanced canopy.
