Monrovia® Luxus Compact Japanese Holly is a carefree dwarf evergreen shrub with a dense, naturally rounded habit and small dark green boxwood-like leaves that stay green year round. Luxus is a male cultivar that does not produce fruit but can be used as a pollinator. Best planted in moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Hollies are dioecious and need both male and female plants to produce fruit.
