Appalachian Red Redbud is a beautiful flowering tree. It is a variety of the Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis) native to the Appalachian region of the United States. The Appalachian Red Redbud is known for its stunning deep red or purple flowers that bloom in early spring before the leaves emerge. It is a small to medium-sized tree, reaching a height of about 20 to 30 feet (6 to 9 meters) with a spread of 25 to 35 feet (7.5 to 10.5 meters). The heart-shaped leaves of the Appalachian Red Redbud turn yellow in the fall, adding to its visual appeal. It is a great choice for adding color and interest to your landscape.
