Fence Line Viburnum is a fast-growing dense multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a more upright habit and leathery wrinkled dark green leaves that take on a purple hue in winter. Profuse flat clusters of creamy white flowers bloom in late spring and give way to bright red berries that mature to black in fall. Flowers best with full sun and moist, lightly acidic well-drained soils. Foliage is evergreen in the South.
