Purple Dragon Deadnettle is an evergreen mat-forming herbaceous perennial that sprawls and variegated silvery leaves with wide green margins. Large deep magenta-purple hooded flowers bloom in clusters in late spring and sporadically until fall. Grows best in part sun and evenly moist well drained acidic soils. Drought resistant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. No serious pests or diseases, but watch for snails and aphids. Leaf blight and leaf spot can be an occasional issue. Crown rot may occur in poorly drained soils. Summer foliage decline may happen in hot and humid summer climates.
