Morris Plum is a semi-dwarf deciduous fruiting tree with a rounded crown and showy display of fragrant white flowers but is primarily grown for its fruit. The fruits have glossy deep red skin and firm flesh with a sweet tang that ripens in late spring. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Morris is disease resistant, but a high chill requirement of 800 hours. Needs a pollinator.
