Colossus Deep Blue With Blotch Pansy is a vigorous perennial with a dense and tight, non-stretching habit and dark green leaves. The extra large upward facing flowers are deep violet-blue with a black blotch and bloom from fall through spring in mild winters. Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soils. The Colossus series has improved heat and humidity tolerance and can tolerate a hard freeze if the soil is not dry, otherwise may experience dieback in harsh winters to return in spring.
