Ideal Select Mix Dianthus is a compact mat-forming perennial with tidy deep green foliage and sturdy hairy stems that do not flop. The densely packed flowers that come in various flowers have a spicy fragrance and bloom from early spring and can continue to bloom into fall if deadheaded. Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil.
The selection is a random mix of the Ideal Select series, including pink, purple, white and bicolor varieties.
