Margarita Carolina Jessamine is a compact native evergreen vine that can also be a groundcover. The shiny lance-like leaves earn bronze hues in winter. Large, highly fragrant clear yellow trumpet-shaped flowers bloom on old growth in spring. Prefers full sun and well-drained soils. The flowers and leaves are highly toxic if ingested.
