Sweet Surprise Gerbera is a compact perennial often grown as an annual with fuzzy dense foliage and vibrant flowers. Large orchid pink flowers with dense double layered and tiered petals have a creamy ring that drop to expose a deep brown eye bloom from late spring until frost with regular deadheading. Prefers full sun and average well-drained soil. The Garvinea Series is hardier than most gerbera, being semi-evergreen and is highly resistant to disease and pests.
