The process starts with a phone conversation with one of our design coordinators to understand your project and goals, followed by an in-person consultation with the designer who will be working on your Food Producing Planting Plan. At the end of the project you will receive a full site design, contractor quote for any built elements (raised beds, etc), plant purchase list and quote, and a planting and maintenance schedule for your climate.

It's always the right time to start with a plan! Implementation can be strategically timed to support your project goals. The main harvest seasons are in the Spring and Fall, meaning summer and winter months are ideal months to implement your plan.
The Food Producing Planting Plan will not address drainage or impervious surfaces, which means it will not require permitting in most municipalities. Your designer will cross reference the codes for your municipality with what the plan requires to ensure compliance with all local regulations.
ServeScape itself does not offer this service but we are happy to provide recommended contractors who will plant, manage, and harvest your landscape on an ongoing basis.
