Ace of Hearts Redbud is a compact native deciduous tree with a rounded crown and semi-glossed heart shaped leaves on zig-zagged stems that create a stacking effect and turn bright yellow in fall. A heavy profusion of deep lavender pink flowers that bloom on bare branches in early spring before the foliage comes in attracting butterflies. Prefers partial sun and rich well-drained soils with consistent moisture.
