Amethyst in Snow Bachelor Button is an erect clumping herbaceous perennial with grey-green lace-shaped foliage. Solitary blooms of bicolor thistle-like flowers with white outer petals and rich purple inner petals bloom from mid spring into summer. Deadhead to encourage rebloom. Flowers best in full sun and dry to medium well-drained soils. Very drought tolerant.
