Monrovia® Winter Gem is a compact low-growing evergreen shrub. Its lush small leaves are a bright, rich green that gains a gold-bronze hue in cold winters but is one of the first Boxwood to regain its green color in early spring. Winter Gem Boxwood has a neat form that is good for formal hedges. Prefers sunny to partial shade areas in well-drained soils. A carefree plant that is drought tolerant once established.
