Monrovia® Purple Queen Bougainvillea is a climbing vine with an upward spreading habit and deep green leaves. Clusters of rich, deep purple bracts bloom throughout the warmer months. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, and is drought-tolerant once established.  Purple Queen needs support, but is excellent variety to train for climbing arbors or trellises.  Evergreen in frost-free environments.
