Spring Grove Dogwood is a low branching native deciduous tree with a rounded crown and extremely abundant flowering. Its medium green leaves turn burgundy in fall. The abundant clusters of button flowers with large white brackets create the illusion of 5" flowers and bloom heavily in spring, attracting butterflies. Prefers part sun and slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soil. Spring Grove has an improved tolerance for both cold and heat, and supreme resistance to anthracnose.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Prone to leaf scorching or spots in full sun. Stressed Dogwoods are susceptible to leaf spot, crown canker, root rot, powdery mildew, blight, and anthracnose. Anthracnose can be a serious problem. Mulching will help keep roots cool in summer.
