Lavender Bubbles Ornamental Onion is a clumping herbaceous perennial with strap-like blue green foliage that slightly twists at the ends.  Sturdy upright stems sport numerous fragrant global clusters of deep lavender flowers at the ends in mid to late summer.  Grows best with light afternoon shade in the South and dry to medium well-drained soils.  When crushed the foliage smells like onion.
