Hummelo Betony is a hairy semi-evergreen perennial with wrinkled ovated dark green basal foliage that slowly spreads to make a dense ground cover. Flower spikes packed with small two-lipped vivid purple flowers last throughout the summer. Deadheading may encourage a second bloom. Grows best with afternoon shade in southern climates and dry to medium well-drained soils. Drought tolerant.
