Golden Carpet Barberry is a compact branching deciduous shrub that forms an arched mound valued for its vibrant foliage. The small leaves emerge in spring as a showy, bright yellow that holds through summer before turning a stunning orange in fall. Unnoticeable tiny pink flowers bloom in spring that gives way to small amounts of red fruit. Best color in full sun and well-drained soils. Drought and deer resistant.
