Country Park Pratia is a dense low-spreading evergreen perennial that forms a soft mat when used as a groundcover. The tiny ovular dark green leaves are blanketed by small deep blue star-shaped flowers that bloom heavily in late spring and sporadically throughout summer. Grows best in moist, well-drained soil. Sturdy enough to withstand heavy foot traffic, making it an excellent filler for paths. An aggressive spreader.
Also sold as Lobelia or Isotoma fluviatilis.
