The Regal Crisp Peach is known for its firm, crisp texture (unlike traditional melting-flesh peaches) and excellent sweet flavor. It's a newer variety that was developed for its unique crisp texture that holds up well even when fully ripe. This makes it less messy to eat and gives it a longer shelf life than traditional peaches. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Self-Pollinating but will benefit if another fruiting peach is planted nearby. 750 chilling hours needed.
