Red Globe Peach is a hardy fruiting tree with a pink early spring bloom and large freestone yellow peaches in mid summer. These peaches have a strong red blush and a mellow sweet flavor with a hint of tart. Grows best with full sun and rich well drained soils. Red Globe is self pollinating and has a chill requirement of 850 hours.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: High Maintenance. Needs regular watering. Peaches have a lot of pest and disease issues and need regular spraying to ensure good crop. Potential pests include tree borer, fruit moth, root nematodes, and aphids. Late spring frosts can severely damage flower buds. Fallen fruit can be messy if not harvested.
