Royal Eventide Daylily is a semi-evergreen perennial with strap-like deep green foliage that is notable for its large, extra-early double blooms.  These fragrant medium violet flowers with a yellow halo, chartreuse throat, and wavy edges bloom on upright stems repeatedly in summer attracting butterflies and pollinators.  Best bloom in deep rich well-drained soils.  Royal Eventide shows rust resistance.
