Hummingbird Falls Sage is a tender low-mounding herbaceous perennial with a compact mushroom habit and trailing stems. Its dark green foliage has a light anise fragrance when bruised. Spikes of tiny, nectar-rich nectar-rich deep purple flowers with black calyces bloom from midspring until frost, attracting hummingbirds. Flowers best in full sun and moist well-drained soils.
