Plum Crazy Anise-scented Sage is a tender upright clumping herbaceous perennial with an open habit of wrinkled dark green foliage that is lightly fragrant when bruised. Tall spikes of tiny vibrant purple two-lipped flowers with plum calyces bloom from late spring through summer, attracting hummingbirds. Flowers best in full sun and moist well-drained soils.
