Golden Deodar Cedar is a tall pyramidal conifer tree that is dense when young and opens to a pyramidal habit with horizontal branches with age. The needles on drooping branchlets emerge golden yellow and mature to varying shades of golden green depending on sun exposure and brightening again in fall. Prefers full sun and rich, moist acidic well-drained soils. Heat and drought tolerant once established.
