Marine Heliotrope is a small tender shrub with rough dark green foliage and sweetly fragrant clusters of intense violet to violet-blue flowers that bloom from late spring until frost. Deadheading can extend the bloom. Grows best with afternoon shade and rich, moist well drained soils.
