Pollypetite Rose of Sharon is a compact woody perennial with a naturally rounded habit and upright hardy stems sporting deep blue-green maple-like foliage with hairy undersides.  The large lavender pink flowers with pale yellow stamen contrast nicely against the dark foliage and bloom repeatedly on the upper leaf axils throughout summer into fall attracting butterflies.  Best bloom in full sun and moist well-drained soils.
