Florida Flame Red Maple is a fast-growing deciduous tree with a tight oval crown that opens with age with good spring and fall color. The rich green palmate leaves emerge and return to deep red in fall. Inconspicuous spring flowers. Grows best in rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.
