Narihira Mahonia is a compact shade loving evergreen shrub that forms a tiered mound with whorls of feathery intensely green bamboo-like foliage. Large spikes of fragrant, bright yellow flowers bloom in fall and are followed by blue-purple berries. Best in part sun and moist well-drained soil.
